ASTRO MADDEN PARK
The club have been working diligently with various people to ensure we have everything in place for our pre planning meeting. We are delighted to confirm this will take place before the end of this month and we will provide updates by email in May. We are very optimistic that we will be providing a positive update and we can continue to next stage on our journey to build the Astro.
Adult football 23/24
The club currently has one senior men’s team in MSL Division 2.
With underage numbers continually growing we’re now at a stage where a junior team will become necessary so players will always have a team to be part of.
If you are interested in joining either team please fill out survey below and we will contact you in the next few weeks.

Similarly in the girls section. It is great to see players from 16 years old and upwards continuing to play and enjoy football throughout the summer months. The ladies section is growing with U17s able to add to the numbers each year.

Congratulations to Kinsale girls Lucy Carmody and Amy Fitzpatrick for being selected for Cork Teams.
Amy was part of the U12 Cork team who qualified for the National Semi Final against Carlow, she was nominated player of the match in their first game against Waterford.Lucy was goalkeeper for the CWSSL U13 team who won the Munster Cup in April.
Both girls are playing National Semi Finals at the weekend, best of luck girls. Proud to see Kinsale represented at CWSSL level. Best of luck also to Lily Fay who is part of the Angela Hearst squad, CWSSL senior team representing Cork this summer.

Clubhouse Activity - YOUNG OFFENDERS
The club were delighted to host the young offenders on the 18/4 and 19/4 while they filmed in Kinsale. Our fabulous new facility allows us to host such events.
As well as this event we host music, yoga and fitness classes regularly in our community room.

We are continually looking for new coaches, administrators of teams, committee members and non committee roles.
Contact any committee member or the lead coach of your son/daughters team to get involved in coaching.
If you are interested in helping out on committee reply back to this Email or contact any committee member.
We also have various roles which don’t require being a fully committed member of the community such as FAI registrar, Membership coordinators, Social media/ Marketing and events organiser such as fundraisers, awards days and club events. Some of these roles may be great experience for college students in marketing or event planning.
